Product Description:
These hand-forged handle wedges are ribbed to stay firmly in place once driven in. The blunt tip splits the wood fibres instead of cutting a path through. This avoids creating a weak spot in the critical area where most handle breakage occurs. We use 2 wedges per hammer handle. Typically ships in 1 week.

Instructions:
Choose a wedge size that is 3/4 of the depth of the eyehole and drive it in 45° off of the centerline until the wedge head is 1/8" below the surface of the wood.

Blacksmith nails can be traced back to 3400BC in Egypt. These essential building supplies were once so precious that old barns and buildings were burned down to retrieve the nails for reuse again. No need to raze your neighbour's house though, we make them fresh every morning in our Vancouver forge. Typically ships in 1 week.
