We’re excited to share that Fraser River Forge was recently featured in Country Life in BC! Their team stopped by while we were smithing at the annual Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust Day At the Farm, and we’re thrilled with the coverage of our craft and community.

This event is always one of our favourites. Set on the Ellis family's working farm in Delta, it brings together farmers, families, local makers, and anyone curious about where their food—and their traditions—come from. We had the forge running all day, hammering out demonstrations, answering questions, and giving visitors an up-close look at the art and skill behind blacksmithing.

There’s something special about sharing traditional craftsmanship in a setting so connected to BC’s agricultural heritage. From the smell of coke and hot steel to the sounds of hammers ringing across the farmyard, the whole day felt like stepping into a piece of living history.

A huge thank-you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, took photos, and shared in the fun. And of course, thank you to Country Life in BC for shining a spotlight on our work. We’re grateful for the support and proud to be part of such a vibrant, community-driven event.
