Blacksmith nails can be traced back to 3400BC in Egypt. These essential building supplies were once so precious that old barns and buildings were burned down to retrieve the nails for reuse again. No need to raze your neighbour's house though, we make them fresh every morning in our Vancouver forge. Typically ships in 1 week.
Highlights
Dull square tip and square shank punches through the wood fibre, significantly reducing splitting
Rough shank surface grabs onto the wood fibres and won't work loose over time
Tough to remove, hence the use of fire to recover them in times past
Large head that won't pull through the plank under duress
